The Sunsail/Moorings Base

mooringsbase

The Sunsail Marina is one of the best Marinas to stay at in the British Virgin Islands for your ultimate sailing vacation. Don’t be confused by the terms “The Moorings” and “Sunsail” they are actually the same company, but the parent company has kept them separated for marketing purposes. Before arriving to the Marina you should know if you are on a Sunsail or Moorings boat so the staff can help direct you to the correct location.

After arrival to the BVIs and when you get the Marina, most groups will congregate by the bar and pool. Find the “Yachtlife” Flag and you will find our group. The day you board the boats can sometimes be a little hectic, so plan to be on “island time” and grab a cocktail and wait until your captain gives you instructions on what to do.
